Policies and Billing

Consultations

Our provider will meet with you for an initial consultation. This will be a comprehensive assessment of your needs, followed by a collaborative treatment plan. We work to find the right treatment option for individuals, which sometimes involves a referral to a more appropriate provider or treatment modality.

Cancellation Policies

If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please provide 24 hour’s notice via the practice site on Luminello. If you do not cancel within this time period, you will be charged the full fee for services. If you are running late for an appointment, you will be seen for the remainder of your scheduled time. You will be responsible for the full session fee that was reserved for you.

Contacting your Provider
Please use the Luminello site for questions, medication concerns and other treatment-related inquiries, as this is a confidential platform. Refills must be requested during appointments. Providers will not regularly refill medications between appointments. Controlled substances will ONLY be refilled in session. Email can be used for non-sensitive questions. Please reserve phone calls for urgent situations. In a true emergency, please call 911.
Billing

We do not accept insurance. Our office will provide you with a receipt for services (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.  You can contact your insurance plan prior to your visit to ask about their "out of network" rates. Fees for services are due at the time of service via check or can be payed via credit card on the Luminello site.

Inclement Weather

You will receive a message from the practice in cases of inclement weather or other unexpected closures.
